The most incredible venue! Todd is a dream to work with. Our wedding reception was at Society Hall and from the moment we toured, Todd was always willing to answer any questions or address any concerns we might have. We were looking for a venue that did not feel like every other wedding venue. We utilized downstairs for our cocktail hour, and many of our guests enjoyed the outside staircase and surrounding sidewalks for photo opportunities. Upstairs, we had a sit down dinner for just over 100 guests along with dancing and a band!

Society Hall is absolutely stunning - in any weather, I might add. It perfectly captures Charleston with historic beauty. Todd was also very gracious and wonderful to work with, I couldn’t thank him enough! Beautiful place, I highly recommend!

South Carolina Society Hall is a fabulous venue. We are so glad to have found it! Every guest at the wedding was in awe of it and told us several times how glad they were to be invited to such a beautiful place. It certainly provided a perfect spot for every part of the wedding, from the cocktail parties, to the ceremony, to the dinner and then the dancing. It could not have been more perfect!

Beautiful Venue for a small wedding reception. It's pretty cool too because your guest would never be able to see the inside of this building without being invited to a party there. It has hardwood floors, tons of windows, and huge crystal chandeliers. The outside also makes for wonderful photos.

The Society Hall looks great at night, so much better than you would expect. You don't need uplighting or anything to make it look amazing. We had a smaller wedding (50 people) which fit nicely in the hall.

Society Hall was a great venue option for my husband and I. Society Hall was also a steal for the cost, downtown location, and furniture included in the rental. I think it is the best venue in the area for size, location, and value.

I was very happy with my experience at Society Hall and would choose the same place if I had to do it all over again!

Society Hall is a beautiful venue South of Broad in Charleston. It is gorgeous, well maintained, and was built in the mid-1800's. Since the building is owned by a men's charity group, they don't spend any money to advertise, which is why you won't see as much information about the venue. It is worth checking it out in person. It's so pretty inside, with three fireplaces, gorgeous hardwood floors, marble plaques on the walls, etc, that we only added some flowers, no extra decor required! Everyone that attended our wedding raved about the location, the decor, everything! Great value!
